Dr Timothy Judd

Dr Timothy Judd is a dentist with experience behind the scenes of dentistry. Having worked as a dental technician for over 10 years, he knows a lot about the technical challenges of creating beautiful smiles.

Tim started his career as a dental technician. This was after he received his Diploma of Dental Technology at the Sydney Institute of Technology. After working in both Sydney and Charlestown, he developed the desire to become a dentist. He wanted to be at the forefront of patient treatment. This allows him to be part of the smile transformation from start to finish.

​

For this reason, Tim first completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2014 at the University of Newcastle. He then graduated with an “Executive Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence” from Charles Sturt University in 2019 (Bachelor of Dental Science). He additionally received the highly coveted prize “The Kathy and Jim Ironside Award for Overall Competency in Fixed Prosthodontics”.

Tim enjoys all aspects of dentistry with particular interest and aptitude in prosthodontics, oral surgery and endodontics. Tim has completed further training to offer patients the detailed imaging that CBCT can capture. On top of this, Tim has furthered his education to offer his anxious patients relative analgesia, known more commonly as "Happy Gas".

Tim holds membership with the National and State branches of the Australian Dental Association as well as being a member of The Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology.

Outside of dentistry, Tim loves spending time anywhere and everywhere with his family.  Tim also enjoys playing golf, skiing and travelling to explore new places with his family.
