Conscious Sedation
This involves the use of medication or inhalation to induce a state of depressed consciousness. Relative Analgesia, commonly referred to as happy gas involves inhaling an odourless gas to induce a state of relaxation while patients are still fully responsive to the dentist and aware of the situation around them.
